In this SEO video tutorial we show you how you can very easily validate the microdata or rich snippet code you created using Google’s free tool as demonstrated in our last video (see http://www.youtube.com-watch?v=BK4S0uJQ-S8 if you missed it). Validating your microdata is important because you want to get the full SEO benefit from your rich snippets and using incorrect code means search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo! can’t properly index your company name, address and phone number (NAP).
